Michikamau Ni-Cu-Co-PGE Project – Labrador, Canada
We are now seeking joint venture partners for the 100% owned Michikamau project covers 4,325 hectacres along the southern margin of the Michikamau layered gabbro-anorthosite (troctolite) intrusion in west central Labrador. This intrusion is considered to be highly favourable for hosting Ni-Cu-Co-PGE mineralization and represents a conceptual and empirical exploration target for Voisey´s Bay type mineralization. The property is proximally situated to existing infrastructure including the Churchill Falls hydroelectric facility. Twenty-seven (27) high to medium conductors have been identified on the Property, hosted in troctolite within the interpreted throat "feeder" zone. The Property is located close to existing infrastructure, including the Churchill Falls hydroelectric facility.
Exploration Highlights
o Prospecting identified Nickel-Copper-Cobalt-PGE surface showing; five grab samples average 1.14% Ni, 0.67% Cu and 0.194% Co.
o Conducted 275 line km of detailed airborne geophysics
o 27 high to medium conductors identified to date
o Followed-up on geophysical conductors in the field
o Completed 2,300m of drilling
o 10 of 12 high-priority EM targets intersected shallow conductive sulphide mineralization
